Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Prevention Standards

1. Our Commitment
Destini is a social networking platform designed exclusively for adults (18 years and above) to connect through shared plans and real-world activities. The safety and protection of children is a fundamental priority. We are committed to preventing our platform from being used in any way that harms, exploits, or endangers minors.
We comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- India: Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000
- United States: Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (CSAM reporting obligations)
- International: UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Destini and will result in immediate action:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Sharing, uploading, distributing, soliciting, or possessing any imagery, video, or content that depicts the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Grooming: Any attempt to build trust with, solicit, or manipulate a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, abuse, or trafficking.
- Sextortion: Threatening or coercing a minor to share sexual content or engage in sexual activity.
- Sexualization of minors: Any content, text, imagery, or behavior that sexualizes children, including AI-generated or illustrated material.
- Trafficking: Using the platform to facilitate or promote the trafficking of minors for any purpose.
- Inappropriate contact: Adults using the platform to establish inappropriate contact with minors through any means.
3. Age Verification and Restrictions
Destini is intended for users aged 18 and above. We enforce the following measures:
- Users must be at least the minimum age required to use the platform.
- Accounts suspected of being operated by minors are suspended pending verification.
- We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.
- If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and all associated data will be deleted.
4. Detection and Technical Safeguards
We employ multiple layers of technical and human safeguards to detect and prevent CSAE on our platform:
- Content moderation: All user-generated content, including profile images, plan descriptions, and messages, is subject to automated and manual review.
- In-app reporting: Users can report any suspicious or harmful content or behavior directly within the app. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Proactive monitoring: Our trust and safety team proactively monitors the platform for indicators of grooming, exploitation, and other harmful behaviors.
5. Enforcement Actions
When a CSAE violation is identified, we take the following actions without exception:
- Immediate content removal: Any offending content is removed from the platform instantly upon detection.
- Account termination: The violating account is permanently banned. The user will not be permitted to create a new account.
- Evidence preservation: Relevant content and account data are preserved as required by law for use in investigations.
- Law enforcement reporting: All confirmed or suspected CSAE incidents are reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations.
6. Reporting Partnerships
Destini actively collaborates with the following organizations to combat child exploitation:
- NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children): We submit CyberTipline reports for all identified CSAM as required under U.S. federal law.
- Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C): Reports are filed with Indian authorities for incidents involving users in India.
- Internet Watch Foundation (IWF): We work with IWF to identify and remove CSAM from our platform.
- Local law enforcement: We cooperate fully with local, national, and international law enforcement agencies in investigations related to child exploitation.
7. How to Report
If you encounter any content or behavior on Destini that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately. Every report is taken seriously and investigated promptly.
- In-app: Use the "Report" button available on any plan, or message to flag harmful content directly within the Destini app.
- Email: Send a detailed report to support@godestini.com with the subject line "CSAE Report".
- Response time: All CSAE reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Urgent cases are escalated to law enforcement immediately.
8. Training and Accountability
All Destini employees, moderators, and contractors who may encounter user-generated content receive mandatory training on:
- Identifying and responding to CSAE indicators
- Legal reporting obligations under applicable laws
- Proper handling and escalation procedures
- Psychological well-being and support resources for staff involved in content moderation
9. Policy Updates
This policy is reviewed and updated regularly to reflect evolving threats, legal requirements, and industry best practices. We are committed to continuous improvement of our child safety measures. Users will be notified of significant changes to this policy.
